The benefits of home care

It’s the simple things in life that makes the difference

At Home Care, with You in Mind, we understand the importance of retaining a sense of dignity and independence for you, or your elderly relative.

It’s the simple things in life that makes the difference. Being able to stay in your own home, or looking after the pet that has been your companion over the years, to knowing that your immediate needs are taken care of, allows you and your loved ones the peace of mind.

Our carers are dedicated at providing support with personal care, palliative/end of life care, specialised clinical care, meal preparation, domestic task. What many families do not initially realise, in addition to the care recipient, there is a significant advantage to the loved ones arranging the care.

For those considering home care as an option for an elderly parent or grandparent, possibly due to increasing demands of time and lifestyle, knowing that your loved one has the care and support they need to thrive can relieve the stresses of a full time commitment and provide the service user with the companionship and support that they require.

Our staff are fully trained to handle both daily routine and any other situation should the need arise. They are trained to recognise, and handle, a multitude of age-related issues through experience and specialised training.

Loneliness and isolation has a significant impact to the quality of life, especially for those who are young at heart. Having a dedicated personal carer allows your loved one to build a professional relationship, with someone outside of the family to improve overall happiness and emotional well-being.

Having a home carer to help with normal tasks such as bathing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping provides the family and primary caretaker with a much needed break. In turn, this leads to the primary caregiver being able to enjoy and treasure the company of their loved one much more.  This allows them to simply focus on enjoying the quality time without the burdens that care giving can place on a relationship.

Finally, we all love our home. We love the comfort and joy of being home. We build memories, we surround ourselves with familiar objects and tokens of love. Home Care, with You in Mind allows your loved one to stay in the place they know and avoids the need of having to adjust to a new environment.

Home, it’s somewhere we belong.
